Dellwood Baptist Church is home to a talented group of musicians and exceptional vocalists. Piano, keyboard, fiddle, drums, guitars, and gifted singers comprise the Praise Team. The Sanctuary Choir averages approximately 40 members and sings to glorify God every Sunday morning. In addition to Sunday worship music, the Choir performs unique musical pieces on special occasions, such as the Easter Cantata and Christmas Cantata. The only requirement for joining the choir is the desire to praise God with music- all are welcome!
On occasion, the church is host to visiting gospel singers and musicians, such as Paul’s Journey from Houston, Texas, Triumphant Quartet from Sevierville, Tennessee, Wilburn and Wilburn from Gadsden, Alabama, the Shiloh AME Zion Church keyboard and choir from Asheville, and the Porter Family from Waynesville. Recently, Dellwood Baptist Church was host to the Porter Family Homecoming, The Partons from Sevierville, Tennessee and the Rochesters from Blacksburg. South Carolina joined the Porter Family and treated a packed sanctuary to a night of bluegrass and southern gospel music.
